About Niek

Welcome to what will be my blog for the coming year. My ambitions to let the whole world know what I am up to are obviously gigantic and therefore I am planning to post many stories and picture. I am curious to what extend I will be able to make that happen, especially since it’s my ambition to write everything in Dutch and English..

For the few people that ended up here by accident and unintentionally:
This blog belongs to me, Niek Klaassen, currently still 22 years and in a week I will be celebrating my 23rd birthday in Madrid with all my (still to be found) friends. Tomorrow (22nd July) I will leave for the sunny spanish capital to work during 5 months for the head office of DAF Spain.

My main activities will be: Pimping my level of Spanish in the first periods, making my employer proud and further… enjoying, enjoying, enjoying!
That will consist from checking out the culture, meeting many lovely people, exploiting the Spanish sun and, ok, now and then serious boozing.

I’m convinced that there is surely still somebody around dumb enough to not know exactly where Madrid (or even Spain) is located, hence the picture below. Also kind of decorates this first page.

Ik ben er van overtuigd dat er vast nog wel iemand dom genoeg is om niet precies te weten waar Madrid (of misschien zelfs Spanje) ligt, dus hier een mooi plaatje. Fleurt de boel ook een beetje op
